Tight staffing and nascent web and mobile presence result in opportunities lost due to missing calls, insufficient customer outreach, and slow responses to customer requests. Additional staff, call centers, mobile apps, and traditional chatbots are often expensive and ineffective; they take time to develop and adopt and deliver restrictive user experiences. FrontdeskAI’s solution is a change in paradigm which delivers a remarkably human-like virtual assistant on modalities consumers love (text, voice, and web chat) to automatically engage customers, answering questions about products and services, booking appointments, placing orders, etc. In the beauty, wellness, and fitness space, FrontdeskAI has already driven more than half a million customer interactions, enabling businesses to substantially increase revenue and save staff time, while simultaneously delivering world-class customer experiences.

FrontdeskAI is changing the way small business’ interact with their clients and we are in need of a Sales Executive who can help make our vision a reality. We are growing fast and need a motivated Sales Executive to keep the momentum going. You must develop and implement growth opportunities in existing and new markets. First and foremost, we’re looking for a person who understands how to leverage real data and capitalize on business trends and opportunities. You must be customer-obsessed and ready to solve the changing needs of our clients. Candidates should have strong communication and leadership skills, and be ready to work in an evolving landscape.

Requirements
  • Developing a pipeline of revenue generating deals
  • Understand the needs of the customers in your pipeline
  • Translate FrontdeskAI products into benefits
  • Negotiating revenue generating deals of all sizes with customers that contain binding revenue commitments
  • Close deals on the phone and in person
  • Become an expert in one or more verticals
  • Attend partner trade shows and industry events
  • Travel (up to 20%)
Skills

What you’ll need

  • 5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to inform and follow process
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty — this is a startup!
  • Willingness to be available during escalations
  • High level of comfort with productivity tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack)
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Intuition for people with an ability to cultivate relationships easily
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close revenue generating deals of all sizes including large ones
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous start-up environment
  • Ability to understand the key drivers and complexities of negotiating successful partnerships
  • Track record of collaborating effectively with different functional areas to get the job done
  • Consistently exceeds quota and key performance metric

Nice to have

  • Experience with CRM and automation tools like HubSpot
  • Experience selling SaaS or to SMBs
